I would like to present this video it is of a Anti-Nazi Protest that I hope many of you were aware about. in this protest the Nazi's were against everyone else. They talked bad and down about not just races but sexualities. They piled all hispanics as Mexican's and all blacks as Africans and that they should all go back to their prospective countries. Regardless, I you should not fight hate with more hate. Their is an aesop fable I would like all who read this to look up. It is about the sun and the wind. But for now here is a video of mob mentality and fighting hate with more hate.
This Happened this weekend on Saturday, April 17th. Nazi's came to Los Angeles because they feel this is the heart of the immigrant problem. They wanted to say that they will support politicians who support anit-immigrant ideals and that they will give them campaign contributions.
ReplyDeleteI was at the counter-protest with CODEPINK. We protested peacefully and in fact the counter protest was much bigger than the Nazi/KKK protest.
ReplyDeleteyes it was. There was only about 40-50 of them and about 200-300 of us. where was codepink at?
ReplyDeleteIt is sad to see that even with all the education and knowledge we have from the past; people still continue to make the same mistakes, why not follow Gandhi's way? that always proofed to be the best form of protest.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me feel bad that after all these years there are still ignorant people that are so racist. Why cant we all just get along? Why must we be different? I dont get it, its so easy just to live happy but people want the harsh way & want to be the bad asses all the time.
ReplyDeleteit is ironic to see a few anti-nazi protesters being the attackers. What is also interesting, is there any footage of the nazi group being physically violent? I feel that in order to accept others mean you have to be willing to accept those that hate and despise you, which I can honestly say is hard to do. Separating them with words such like wrong, ignorant, and evil just make us like them unwilling to let others be. That is tough part of about diversity, they are views that are fueled by hate. Just the other side of the coin.
