um...actually to me, it does not matter. All I care is their personality and the work enviorment. The job I am having right now is a female boss. I also had male bosses.
I have a male boss , but I think it is irrelevant as long as the boss can perform the task and is equal to the staff I don't see a problem with it being either sex.
I had a female boss and I was comfortable calling sick concerning female emergencies because She understood, but I think that it doesn't matter what gender of a boss you have.. Either you have a male boss with preferences to young looking females or you have a female boss with preferences of young looking males.. Opposites attract!
I think it will be better to work with the opposite sex. Male bosses will be much nicer and easier on female workers than a female boss. I believe a female boss will be better for male because if a male has a male boss the boss is going to be harder on the male to show power and status.
I currently have two supervisors (yeah weird huh) and one is a man the other is a woman. I get assignments from both of them. The manner in which they assign me stuff is very...characteristic of a man and a woman. The male boss would just simply ask me to do something whereas the female supervisor would try to make a little conversation at first then talk her way into the assignment and describing almost if not all the details that goes along with the task. Also she is the more sociable supervisor. With that said, I still don't have a preference only because I have not worked long enough to have met more than 2.
