Awww, some do, some do ^__^ It really depends on the individuals...I mean, some girls can also dislike showing their love openly, especially the shy ones.
Do men really not show their love openly? I never considered this question because friends around me do show their love openly, male or female. what do you mean "openly"?
Maybe it's because the men don't want to show their feminine side because it might make them look weak or vulnerable. In looking weak, your no longer the MACHO man society wants a "real" man to be.
On the other hand, there are plenty of men that do show their love openly. Some of these men know that there are women that are into guys that express their emotions, feelings, and affections. These guys know how to play on the hearts of the strings of many women.
Personally, I never really was very comfortable doing so myself. Additionally, always saw it as kind of rude when I see others do so; with the exception of holding hands or putting one's arms around the other.
I don't believe this is enirely true...men and women have very distinctive forms of showing their love, therefore it is unfair to say that a man does not love me because he doesn't want to talk to me...nor is it fair to say that a woman does't love me because she doesn't want to sit here and watch me play this game on my wii..maybe the question is not whether or not men show love more openly, but rather why men and women cannot identify the ways in which they do infact show their love for eachother??
i agree with the comment above... men show their love in different ways. i think that the way men were brought up and the way women were brought up plays a big role in why men dont show their love openly and with that i'm thinking PDA (ie. kissing, holding hands, hugging, or saying i love you in public) only becuase they were probably brought up not to do or say things like that.
i believe that men do show their love openly. It depends on the individual and also men just show it differently. I know with my girlfriend i hold hands with her, put my arms around her, and kiss her in public but i really didnt think that was showing i love her. i always just thought thats what couples do. Men and women just love each other differently like how men and women apologize differently
mmm interesting. I have had the total opposite experience. I've know males that are not afraid to let out their hearts to girls. Normally, those are the romantice type that are very hard to find, but they do exist.
I believe men show their love openly. My friend's boyfriend is always doing so.. to the point of annoying anybody that is around them. He's almost on to of my friend all the time in public, is so annoying!..but once again like K-dizzle said, this are the romantic type that are kind of hard to find!
